Arkansas’ landscape architect seal rule is 17 CAR § 230-1201 (Ark. Code Ann. § 17-15-203), administered by the Arkansas State Board of Architects, Landscape Architects and Interior Designers, a different body from the engineering board. The seal must carry “Registered Landscape Architect – State of Arkansas”, and two (2) concentric circles one and one-half inches (1.5") and one inch (1") in diameter.

Arkansas splits the two: signature reproductions such as rubber stamps or computer-generated facsimiles are permitted on original documents, while the seal must be personally inscribed by the landscape architect, who is responsible for its security when not in use. (17 CAR § 230-1201(c)(7), (c)(8))
The seal may not simply be deleted. Where electronic drawing files are requested as reference documents, a prescribed record-copy statement must be substituted for the seal, naming the individual and address holding the record copy and stating the file shall not be used for construction. (17 CAR § 230-1201(c)(4))
Incomplete contract documents may go out unsealed only if they bear the landscape architect's name and are conspicuously marked as for interim review and not intended for bidding, permit, or construction. (17 CAR § 230-1201(c)(2))
