Your Nebraska Landscape Architect seal from pedigitalstamps.com meets every requirement on this page — the required wording and the layout set out in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198; 231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4. Fill in your details and download it in seconds.
Rule 6.1.6 still reads "signed across the face of the seal," wording that predates the 2026 amendment of § 81-3437.01(2). The statute now permits the signature and date across or adjacent to the seal, and the statute controls; as of August 2026 the Board had not conformed the rule text. Title 231 was revised under LB696 and the current version took effect November 25, 2025; the seal chapter is now Chapter 4, "The Licensee Seal" (older board material and the board's subject index refer to the seal chapter as Chapter 5). The chapter text quoted here is the version published in the board's Professional Landscape Architects Handbook reflecting the November 25, 2025 rules, at https://nsbla.nebraska.gov/sites/default/files/doc/NSBLA_Handbook.pdf.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Nebraska digital landscape architect stamps and seals.
Once you are licensed in Nebraska, you can generate your seal here and download it immediately. Fill in the form and position your signature if you want one. The layout follows Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198; 231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4, which is the provision the Nebraska State Board of Landscape Architects will measure the seal against.
Nebraska’s landscape architect seal rule is Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198; 231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4, administered by the Nebraska State Board of Landscape Architects, a different body from the engineering board. The seal must carry “State of Nebraska, Professional Landscape Architect”, and no diameter is prescribed. Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198 requires a "suitable seal with a uniform inscription thereon formulated by the board" and lists only the wording, and the board's rule on the seal, 231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4, requires only that the seal be legible, whatever its type.
A further 12 requirements, each tied to the subsection that imposes it, are itemised in the Nebraska requirements section on this page.
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198; 231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4 governs the Nebraska landscape architect’s seal but does not prescribe a diameter. Sizes quoted for Nebraska elsewhere generally come from stamp suppliers’ catalogues rather than from the rule. What the rule does require is that your name and license number stay clearly legible.
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,193 requires the board itself to adopt an official seal for certificates of licensure. That is the board's corporate seal, not the licensee's — the licensee's seal is § 81-8,198. (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,193; Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198)
An illegible seal is not merely a defect: 231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4, § 4.1.1 provides that in the absence of legibility, the seal is invalid, and § 4.1.2 provides that no seal is valid unless signed across its face with the licensee's name and the sealing date. (231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4, §§ 4.1.1, 4.1.2)
231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4, § 4.1.3 requires the seal on each sheet of the original drawings — a title-page-only seal does not satisfy the drawing requirement. (231 Neb. Admin. Code ch. 4, §§ 4.1.3, 4.1.4)
