The Nebraska rules in full, with citations

Rule 6.1.6 still reads "signed across the face of the seal," wording that predates the 2026 amendment of § 81-3437.01(2). The statute now permits the signature and date across or adjacent to the seal, and the statute controls; as of August 2026 the Board had not conformed the rule text. Title 231 was revised under LB696 and the current version took effect November 25, 2025; the seal chapter is now Chapter 4, "The Licensee Seal" (older board material and the board's subject index refer to the seal chapter as Chapter 5). Each licensee shall provide himself or herself with a suitable seal with a uniform inscription thereon formulated by the board, containing State of Nebraska, the licensee's name, the license number, and Professional Landscape Architect. (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198)
The licensee's signature shall be across the seal, and the seal and the date of its placement shall be on all technical submissions and calculations whenever presented to a client or any public or governmental agency. (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-8,198)
