The Oklahoma rules in full, with citations

The board writes its own name as the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors; OAC Title 245 and 59 O.S. § 475.3 still read "Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors". The seal rules for architects, landscape architects and licensed interior designers were consolidated into a single section, OAC 55:10-11-8; the former 55:10-11-9 through 55:10-11-13 are revoked. The Board publishes the current OAC 55:10 (effective August 3, 2026) and the Act (effective July 1, 2026) as PDFs on its statutes-and-laws page; the rules PDF is titled "OK 2026 Rules Changes - Clean Copy."

  • "No licensed interior designer may sign or seal interior technical submissions unless they were prepared by or under the responsible control of the licensed interior designer," subject to the adoption and integration exception in paragraph 1. (59 O.S. § 46.42(1))

What size does an Oklahoma interior designer stamp have to be?

59 O.S. § 46.42; OAC 55:10-11-8 governs the Oklahoma interior designer’s seal but does not prescribe a diameter. Sizes quoted for Oklahoma elsewhere generally come from stamp suppliers’ catalogues rather than from the rule. What the rule does require is that your name and license number stay clearly legible.
