Oklahoma’s PE seal rule is OAC 245:15-17-1 (Licensee's seal); OAC 245:15-17-2 (Use of seal), administered by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors. The seal must carry “Licensed Professional Engineer”, and two commercially designated seals are acceptable: the 1-7/8" seal, with an inner circle of 1-1/8" and an outer circle of 1¾", or the 1-5/8" seal, with an inner circle of 1-1/16" and an outer circle of 1-9/16". A reproduction may produce a different seal size provided the seal remains completely legible.

The legend is "Licensed Professional Engineer", not "Professional Engineer" and not "P.E.". Seals already reading "Registered Professional Engineer" may continue in use under the grandfather clause, but a new seal cannot be made that way. (OAC 245:15-17-1(c), (e))
The rule inscribes "Oklahoma", not "State of Oklahoma". "State of Oklahoma" is the wording the architect rule prescribes. (OAC 245:15-17-1(c))
The rule fixes both circles, not just an outside diameter. "Approximately 1¾ inches" describes only the outer circle of the 1-7/8" seal and omits the 1-1/8" inner circle that goes with it. (OAC 245:15-17-1(c))
The signature of the licensee and the date of signature go adjacent to or across the seal. (59 O.S. § 475.15(C))
