Florida’s PE seal rule is Fla. Admin. Code R. 61G15-23.002 (Seals Acceptable to the Board), administered by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. The seal must carry “PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER”, and a minimum of 1-7/8 inches in diameter — including a Digitally Created Seal. The rule sets no maximum.

Sealing the file is only half the job. Transmitting it electronically is governed separately — digital signing needs a third-party certification authority, electronic signing uses an SHA authentication code, and each carries its own required text-box wording.
