Alaska’s architect stamp rule is 12 AAC 36.180(a) (Seal), administered by the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors. The seal must carry “Registered Professional Architect”, and the rule prescribes an illustrated design, not a diameter. No size is given in AS 08.48 or 12 AAC 36.

12 AAC 36.180(a) (Seal) governs the Alaska architect’s seal but does not prescribe a diameter. Sizes quoted for Alaska elsewhere generally come from stamp suppliers’ catalogues rather than from the rule. What the rule does require is that your name and license number stay clearly legible.
No — the word "Professional" belongs in the middle of it. The design the rule illustrates arcs REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECT across the bottom, under STATE OF ALASKA across the top, and the registrant's seal must be that design or a substantially similar electronic or digital representation of it. It does. The illustrated design carries a ruled line labeled "(Affix Signature)" across the middle of the seal, with "(Your Name)" and "No." beneath it and a five-point star and the "49 TH" device above it. Those elements are part of the design the rule prescribes, and the registrant's handwritten signature then goes over the seal itself. (12 AAC 36.180(a); 12 AAC 36.185(f))
Only the numeric characters of it — the rule requires alpha characters to be excluded, so a license issued as A-1234 is sealed as No. 1234. Nothing is added in front of the digits either: the two-character branch identifier that must precede the number is a rule for the professional engineer's seal, and the architect design shows only "No." and a blank rule.
