Two North Carolina credentials sit close enough together to order the wrong stamp: certified residential and certified general. This is the residential one, and the designation printed on it should be the designation on your certificate. Fill in your name and certificate number and the seal redraws as you type.

FAQ
Common questions about the north carolina residential real estate appraiser digital stamp.
Use the second design on this page. Its wording reads licensed rather than certified, because North Carolina treats them as separate credentials with separate designations.
No. Under 21 NCAC 57A.0201 the previous credential is cancelled by the Board when an appraiser upgrades, and 21 NCAC 57A.0405 has each report carry the designation you actually hold. A new certificate means a new stamp.
The Board adopts the Appraiser Qualifications Board's Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria by rule (21 NCAC 57A.0201), so that document, and not this page, is where the difference between the residential and general certifications is written down.
