Alaska’s land surveyor seal rule is 12 AAC 36.180(c) (Seal), administered by the State Board of Registration for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors. The seal must carry “Registered Professional Land Surveyor”, and the rule prescribes an illustrated design, not a diameter. No size is given in AS 08.48 or 12 AAC 36.

12 AAC 36.180(c) (Seal) governs the Alaska land surveyor’s seal but does not prescribe a diameter. Sizes quoted for Alaska elsewhere generally come from stamp suppliers’ catalogues rather than from the rule. What the rule does require is that your name and license number stay clearly legible.
Not on its own. The prescribed legend arcs REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR across the bottom of the seal, under STATE OF ALASKA across the top; "Registered" leads it, and dropping that word leaves a seal that is not the illustrated design. (12 AAC 36.180(a), (c))
The rule prints the land surveyor's seal twice and the two illustrations do not match. 12 AAC 36.180(a) sets out a single design shared by the architect, landscape architect, land surveyor and structural engineer, and its land surveyor seal carries a ruled line reading "(Affix Signature)"; the separate land surveyor design in 12 AAC 36.180(c) reads "(Affix Original Signature)". Either way a ruled signature line inside the seal is part of the prescribed design, and both subsections accept a substantially similar electronic or digital representation rather than an exact copy. No. The two-character identifier placed before the number — CE, ME, EE and the rest — is a branch-of-engineering rule and belongs on the professional engineer's seal; the surveyor design shows "No." and a blank rule. The number itself is only the numeric characters of the registrant's license number, with alpha characters excluded. (12 AAC 36.180(a), (b), (c))
