State boards

Some North Dakota registrants hold the professional engineer and the professional land surveyor certificate at once. This stamp puts both legends on a single seal, with a separate field for each registration number and a line for the date. Everything is typed in and previewed before you buy.

FAQ
Common questions about the north dakota engineer and surveyor digital stamp.
That is a question for the board. North Dakota Century Code 43-19.1-21 has the seal made to a design the board authorizes, bearing the legend for the registration held. Single-discipline stamps are the alternative.
Because the statute asks for a date. Final drawings, specifications, maps, plats and reports presented to a client, contractor, subconsultant or public agency must be signed, dated and stamped with the seal or a facsimile of it (NDCC 43-19.1-21).
The same section requires a working drawing or unfinished document to state that it is preliminary and not for construction, recording purposes or implementation. That statement belongs in the drawing itself; the stamp does not carry it.
